Pau I dont know how many pounds it is.  Postage is around 13$ for CA and around 20$ for FL.

If there’s anything left I’d love to try some different varieties Mr. Spaugh, I’m not picky!

I'd be interested in reading spaugh's description of each of these varieties, and how they differ. Then hear from everybody who gets a box. It'd be really telling (more about Spaugh's opinions then the cado's themselves. He's definitely got some authority, so understanding his/your taste profile compared to others would be super interesting, and this would be a perfect way to get it).

Someone asked me to label them.  I will label them, not to worry.  Im going to wait for 9 more days to let them oil up a bit more then ship on Monday May 1.

The avocados are all good ones.  The carmen, hass, pinkerton, and gwen all have the hass profile and have a little bit of nutty flavor.

The sharwil is more oily and less nutty more like butter.  Nabal also very soft and creamy and good oil content.

Green gold get the most oil content and get "thick" and dense.

These dont really all have the exact same peak ripeness times so some will still have room for improvement but I have to try and find the best time to sample the most variety at once.  The gwen is really a later fruit than the rest and also nabal maybe a few weeks behind the others.  But they are all at a good state to do this.  Hopefully that makes sense.

As a happy customer from last year, order with confidence!

Brad has amazing avocados, last time we spent like 2 weeks making our way through them all

The one downside is you will appreciate how bland the store ones are

Im still going to ship more boxes theres still amlot of avocados left.  So many people wanted them, I just need to get more orders out next week then I will contact people to see if they still want them.

This always happens, my mailbox gets overloaded but I will get back to people once I am caught up again.

Just realized I didn't post a recap! They were great, and actually ended up ripening over about a week, rather than all at once. Fujikawa was a clear favorite of the whole family, even though we ate it a little on the soft side. A nice smooth consistency with good nutty taste. There was less consensus on the rest, but Gwen, Carmen, and Sharwil were among the runner-ups. The Sharwil looked very similar to the ones we get from Hawaii sometimes here in WA, but it seemed a bit more... dry? It was still good, of course, but not my favorite in this box. The only one that ripened unevenly was Nabal, but the half that was ripe when we cut it was pretty good.

I'm stoked you enjoyed the fujikawa.  I only had a couple of those and meant to send one to Janet but somehow you got it instead.  So its good you guys like it.  Sorry Janet.

I did eat a lot of avocado this year.  I literally have been living on it.  And for me, nothing beats sharwil.  Carmen and Hass were also good but those sharwils with a little garlic powder and salt chopped into chunky guacamole is spectacular.

Just ate the last of them which happened to be the Hass. Amazing that after all the new varieties, Hass still reigns supreme. For me, top 3 in order were:

Hass
Green Gold
Sharwil
