Added Mature Luc's Mangosteen scions

2
Mark,

Which syzygium species would you recommend to graft the wax jambu onto?
Do wax jambu scions have success rooting?

You can root them easily with proper technique. You can also graft onto rose apple rootstock.

Added wax jambu varieties

How hard would it be to root the jambu?

Very easy, they like a bit of bottom heat and some rooting hormone.

They say to graft when the rootstock has leaves the size of squirrels ears. I get 100 % takes this way.

7
Updated with other varieties.

8
Mark, did you want a few cuttings of my cherimoya with the fruits shown above?

I appreciate the offer, but I can't use any right now. Is the taste real good?

Hi Mark, are you fruiting this?

Hi, yes.  I've been fruiting this for about 10 years.

11
can this tree be grafted?  I have a couple seedlings growing 2-3 years old.  I should have tried grafting them sooner.

Hi Stela,

Mine is a seedling but I believe it can easily be grafted. It doesn't have much sap. If you think you can use icons let me know.

Mark

Hi,

The fruit is a mellow vanilla like flavor, not very strong. Unripe areas of the fruit is not very good.

Anyway,

Someone picked up these seeds.

Thanks,

Mark
