Fruitwood nursery has a pretty decent selection of hawthorn scion wood including gold azarole. Never tried grafting it myself but I imagine it's similar to grafting apples and pears which aren't too fussy.

You might try fruitwood nursery in California  they sell plugs.

I think Panzarella Citrus has citrangequat as grafting stock from time to time. I think they're seedlings, and I don't think Thomasville 100% nucellar. Texas is split into various zones for citrus transport due to greening, but if you're in the south he may be in your area.

They were in a tiny coin ziplock. When I peeled them they were still quite fresh looking. Yes JL Hudson seedsman, the seedbank.

Yea I figured it's probably some rootstock hybrid. J Hudson had it listed as "Possible hybrid" figured it would probably be one of the common rootstocks. Mostly surprised to get good germination from any seed catalog citrus. Probably grow these out and use them as rootstock down the line.

I picked these up from J Hudson for fun and was surprised that they were pretty fresh and had decent germination. Still not sure what they actually are. Quite likely one of the common rootstock hybrids.

I have read that Miyagawa is a very early variety. So that may be why people suggest it for colder area. Perhaps it ripens fruit better with short seasons?
