Detwiler's Farm Market, in Palmetto, FL has jackfruit this time of year. I bought one a week or two back which was almost completely latex free. However, it was not a tasty as the one I bought there last year, that was also more sticky. I wonder if they are messing with them to be more saleable, but end up with less taste.

I'm not an expert on how many different sorts of dwarf coconuts there are. I have some younger ones of the Malayan variety. I keep mine healthy with regular doses of Epsom salts. The black spots in your photos could be fungal, but they could also be from too much water.

Tangerine, lemon, Surinam Cherry, (red has just started to bloom, whereas black has fruit that is almost ready) blueberry, papaya and Moringa (both bloom all year), Calamondin, Barbados Cherry, Manzano banana, Lemon Cattley Guava, Brodgon Avocado, mangoes - Pickering, Venus, Fairchild, Carrie, Gold Nugget, mulberries, kumquat, grapefruit.
