I recently bought what was labeled as an ice cream banana but recently found out it was a namwa. I've heard that there is a tall and dwarf type and was wondering which one I had. The plant was originally from La Verne nursery.

If you looking for a more mature tree that is producing there is a place up in vista called California tropical fruit tree. Despite being in a relatively residential area, they have a really big plot with loads of trees. They have really good selection, service and usually if you ask, they will let you try the fruit. Hope this helps!

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Jaboticaba Flowering But Not Fruiting

The Jaboticaba tree that was fruiting when we purchased it last year has flowered twice since but produced no fruit. They're suppose to be self-pollinating and I know they are suppose to produce more fruit when they are with other Jaboticaba trees but we are getting no fruit at all after. The grower advised that we fertilize with 15-15-15 fertilizer but so far nothing! Does anyone have any ideas what the problem may be? Appreciate the input!
