Title: Carolina lime questions

Hi all, I am looking for info on the carolina lime variety ?
This variety would be resistant according to Stan McKenzie (on a publication I read) at -8°F.
Have any of you grown this variety near a dragon lime to be able to tell what the differences are ?

I have them both but they are young. Dragon Lime is like flying dragon with contorted twisted branches and Carolina Line is mostly unifoliate based off my plant, which I got from Stan. It was recently grafted and is a small plant and so far it has fared well this winter. Of course, no fruit on them yet.

I got a Carolina lime fruit from Stan McKenzie. It tastes like lime and is actually good although it is a trifoliate hybrid. I believe Stan says it is an unknown variety that originated in Europe. He calls it Carolina lime since it is otherwise unnamed.

Native to Europe, but where in Europe?
I would like to know where he found it.

This little carolina lime makes me envious.
Especially considering the rusticity he claims to have.

Dragon Lime, appears to be monofoliate as it gets older, mine is young and is trifoliate:
