Suebelle has C. Tetrameria genetics in it is why.

Cuccio stays a manageable size as well and is the most productive Casimiroa species I’ve seen.

Especially in containers they lose vigor and die. A good species to direct seed.

From hearing about how champs die a mysterious sudden death lead me to believe is that we lack some living symbiotic component that gives them more vigor. It could be a fungus or something else. Even in controlled container with optimum soil and nutrients they lose vigor and die.

Gophers have been active.

About how long ago did you graft them?

I usually just let it fall off naturally or remove it well after the graft union has healed and pushed a good amount of growth.

Do you remove the parafilm or buddy tape after a certain amount of time? Or let it fall off naturally?

All are growing really well but a few are showing black spots under the parafilm (probably moisture got in). I'd hate to lose them to mold or girdling...or removing the parafilm too soon.

It’s a great time to cut and graft White Sapote right now.
I am taking orders .

I have some nice big Babaco cuttings now. Easy to root with no hormone needed.

Want hasn’t been know to be fruited outside of Indo yet , so not much to talk about.
It was a good fruit in Bali. Hopefully there are some reports back and sharing of bud wood and seeds once it’s known to be fruiting somewhere outside its native range. There are tree’s out there, should only be a matter of time.
