There is currently an ongoing hard freeze happening now and probably the weekend. I would like to hear any data of frost hardiness of any citrus varieties following the event. It's going to get doen to 10 degrees F here, so I'll record my data and not protect anything.

Trying to save some seeds as I can't plant them right now. Any suggestions on how to remove pulp from seed? Thanks.

Also any tips on saving citrus seeds would be helpful.

Picture of the citrus ichangensis tree from where the fruits were collected from. Some leaves have gigantic petioles.

Precocious trifoliate in my experience can be able to bloom 3 times a year, and right now I see another flower bud preparing to open probably next week. Not able to hold any fruit because of its size but still has viable pollen in spring, summer, and early fall.

Might be a citrus trifoliata hybrid? Possibly citrus rootstock? Do you have any pictures of the flowers?

I might have a male esculenta, wanted to see if they could possible pollinate yangmei.

Same thing happening to mine in GA. It is most likely the heat, previous summer it was fine but now it's beaten up from the abnormal heat of this summer.

Close up on the leaves, they are definitely Citrus glauca seeds germinated but of course they arenít pure and are hybrids. Of course I donít know the parent because it could be anything. Different hybrids show different growth forms and other characteristics .

They aren't pure glauca, they are open pollinated therefore is a F2 Citrus glauca.

Cold Hardy Citrus / Re: F2 Citrus glauca

No, its citrus glauca. Check out the leaves, they have some serration to them and I don't recall finger limes having serration on the leaves. And the leaves are thin not as broad as finger lime.

It's probably a hybrid if it keeps on putting out trifoliate leaves
