It has a good flavor, juicy and sweet, it is a particular flavor of this fruit, I don't know anything like it except the chamba (C. lineatifolia) which is its Amazonian sister, which also has a similar perfume (the best Campomanesia taste wise). The sete capotes is different, more citric I would say. I like them all.
The orange guabiroba is the most cultivated in its region of origin (Brazil, north Argentina), there are large tree varieties and others with more squat growth. This produces trees approx. 8m tall.

Sweet orange guabiroba harvest just started. Hardy trees, resist up to -7º C or so.
These seeds will be available along with new jaboticabas from Corrientes and Luján by jan/23, you can reserve them now.

That sounds delicious! I've never had anything flavored jaboticaba.

Jaboticabas are delicious fruits, for sure.

Tropical Fruit Buy, Sell & Trade / Corrientes jaboticaba found!

It is a species of jaboticaba from northern Argentina but from a province that is further south than Misiones, it lives in forest formations where naturally the jaboticabas develop enduring stronger frosts. For this reason, it is one of the jaboticaba species best adapted to cold. It is more rustic than other varieties when it is wild, the trees are old and are between 2 and 4 meters high (tends to be low if we compare it with other Plinia species), the leaves are small. The fruits are sweet with acid tones such as several known jaboticabas. I think it is a very good variety for temperate and subtropical climates.

We are taking reservations: marcospcmusica@gmail.com or PM me.
