Hello,

Recently I ate some persimmon fruits, of course from a country with temperate climate. But I was told by some members and even some other persons that Persimmon can be grown in tropics and there are some tropical persimmons. It is a really taste fruit, can keep for a long time, very hard and taste is similar to that of an Apple. Unfortunately in the fruits I tasted, there was not a single seed.

There are soo many ebay vendors selling Persimmon seeds. None of the will germinate. That was my experience.

CAn anyone make me informed whether there are tropical persimmons and can help me to find some viable seeds.

Can anyone offer a few best quality mammy cuttings please. Not immediately but after a few months. My plants are very small yet

Mr. Guidelazeri posted some capuaaccu seeds but instead the parcel coming to me it went to UK. The parcel was in UK for more than 60 days. Finally it came to me. Having lost all hopes on capuaccu and jabo seeds that the vendor posted, I opened the envelop to see the rotten seeds. I was amazed to see that capuaccu had no place to grow more and their stem was more than 8 inches but no leaves. When I said this to Mr. G, he said no chance of getting them their life back.

I did not give up. Put all of them in cocopeat, daily looked after them by adding (spraying)  water and gave them hot and cool treatment by changing the location of the tray in which they were kept with cocopeat. When the stems start shrinking from top, little by little it was cut and removed. Two developed secondary shoots and they were potted separately. The other three were taken out recently, sprayed with Albert solution and again put in cocopeat. Today I saw the third one also putting up a shoot. Wait for 4th and 5th to follow. I never experienced this tupe of thing before. I do not know whether Guidelazeri did an Amerzon charm before sealing the envelop.

I bought some seeds from Mr. Guidelazeri, including 5 Capuaccu. He posted the parcel on 17th July. It was lying in UK from 5th August. Today it came to me as below;



The sprouted seeds were living in side.

I could not believe.

Dear Members,

Can someone tell me as to why young chempadak plants die without any reasons.

I know that many members have experienced this before. Like to share their views and as to how it could be avoided.

I look for a few mammey cuttings of few better varieties. The size should be a pencil size. Who can sell me few cuttings.
