Received my cedar bay cherries today in great condition thanks to a superb pack job. They look healthy and are pushing new growth. Thanks Kevin!

Recently picked up a sugar apple and found this guy catching a free ride. The growth is similar to a mango but the leaves are half the size. Any ideas?

And I thought the "germination may take 1-6 months" was a bit extreme, guess not. Im keeping the soil moist and the humidity high. Hopefully yours will pop up any day now. What do you have planned? Also is there a post where Richard shows pics and discusses his experience? Not sure who Richard is.

I am new to this site and the world of rare fruit so I wasn't sure what to expect. Frank allowed me to pick up locally and was very generous, giving me the best with extras. Thanks again Frank look forward to purchasing again.

Thanks for the explanation Guanabanus. Are you aware of any hybrids being created with paludosa/duckei? Finding this type of info is proving harder than thought.

Makes sense. Is an atemoya created with male squamosa/female cherimola, female quamosa/male cherimola or both? Does both ways create the same hybrid or?

Elouicious - how long have you been waiting? Do you regulate temperature for germination?

Paul - thanks, will do. Hopefully keeping the soil moist is enough.

Hello all,

Recently received seeds for A. paludosa and A. duckei from trade winds figuring I would give them a go. My goal is to try grafting other annonas to create hybrid fruit as well as the delight of trying the duckei/paludosa fruits themselves. Anyone have experience with these species? I would appreciate any info as I'm a novice.
