Sumo/Dekopon/Shiranui Seedling Help
« on: April 04, 2015, 01:45:05 AM »
Hi Everyone,

After spending 50 dollars in Sumo/Dekopon/Shiranui, I finally found one seed... ha

I was able to get the seed to sprout, but now the leaves are burning or turning brown. Does anyone have any tips on how I should be watering, how much sun the seedling should get, and if it should be indoor our outdoor?

Also, I am dying to get a tree, but california is ridiculous so it is hard. Would anyone be able to help me get one? I know about Harris Citrus, but they do not send to california. I even tried to but some "mutated" shiranui seeds from ebay, but nothing took.

Here is a picture of the seedling. Sorry it is not the best, but I tried with two phones and none came out that good.

Surely there are others growing out dekopan seeds. When I lost my seedling a friend gave me
a piece of budwood from a seeding he had grown out. I am in Texas so growing out a seedling
is my only way to get a tree.

That seedling doesn't look like it is developing much chlorophyll. - Millet

kylem4711 developing chlorophyll is a genetic process and the plant it self has to do it. - Millet
