please help broken roots in soursop

Hi friend yesterday transplanted a soursop, in transplanting the roots end broken....will survive the tree? the tree 2 years ago 1,5m long.
any tip please.

You could simply cut off half of the leaves, then check for any wilting during the heat of the day, before removing any more.

I moved a soursop after over one year in the ground.  I did not preserve the root ball very well.  The tree easily survived with no permanent damage.  You should be okay.  I think I did trim it back a lot.
