Citrus at the supermarket

I went to the supermarket this morning and noticed how the citrus is laid out. My local supermarket has around 15 to 25 varieties at any one time all laid out in neat rows. They change around varieties regularly. It is totally different from the haphazard nature of the local markets.It would be interesting to see what citrus is on offer in supermarkets in various places.

I think i see yuzu from japan, is this all grow in australia?

Sunny that is gold nugget and yes it is all grown in Australia. There is plenty of varieties and volume grown here over a wide area. Exports are pretty substantial for citrus with china, japan, korea, taiwan and the US importing from Australia.

Yes Sometimes we can buy australia blood orange in the local market.

They are pretty expensive, I see the prices that are in au$
In Europe we can get lemons and oranges for 1 aud
Of course not so many varieties.
