Ed, did you end up going? My girlfriend and I went and had a blast. She got to try many mangos for the first time (PPK totally won the day) and I got to try Sweet Tart for the first time and am now a huge fan--it was my favorite last night followed by PPK and Coconut Cream. Tried Lemon Zest again and it did not impress. PPK is so much better! We bought a few raffle tickets for the mango varieties table and got PPK, Coconut Cream, and some really green M4s and Sweet Tarts. Already looking forward to next year!

My wife didn’t want to go, because she thought it was going to be a bust like the “ Cape Coral Mango Fest “ it was everything but Mangoes!

Man sounds like you guys had a hell of a time!
Next year I will Definitely Go!

Please let me know hello w the M4’s are , they say it’s a Coconut cream on steroids!
Did they sell trees at the event ?

Certainly, though I don't have much hope they'll be the best representatives--they're currently rock hard and green :/

And yes, they had trees though not many--I *think* I saw Pineapple Pleasure, NDM, and Fruit Punch trees there...

The tasting was great, atendance was about 250 maybe 50 or so mango varieties available to taste, DJ music, raffle of mango, tools, etc., food trucks, discussions and demonstrations, mangos for sale, ticket included 2 custom rum with mango drinks. The venue was at a local rum factory. Plenty of rain but they had enough cover in the factory building. many thanks to Matthew Reece of "What's Ripening" and his army of volunteers who worked many days bringing this off.
