I got a mixed box of mangoes shipped to a friend's house when I was visiting (they don't ship to CA) and this is what I got:
Unfortunately, the Angie and Pruter mangoes were too ripe for eating -- thankfully, the Mangomen said they'll refund for those two mangoes -- unfortunately, I still haven't tried an Angie, so I don't know if the parts I did consume were representative of the cultivar or not.
The Martian Pride and Pope were just fine, but nothing special.
This was my first time eating ST mangoes, and they were every bit as good as everyone says. Absolutely phenomenal.
The real treasure here, though, was the Deimos mango. I'd never heard of it before, but it was exceptional. Sweet, citrusy, and very bright in flavor. My wife, especially, loved it.
Who here has tried a Deimos? Where can I get more? What's its availability to graft/grow?
