WTB Wax Jambu Socal
« on: September 01, 2021, 02:58:57 AM »
I’m looking for an air layer Wax Jambu tree. I’m located in San Gabriel Valley, Southern California and preferred local seller.  If you have one that can be ship, I’m also interested. Message me. Thx.

I would recommend you do your research on what variety you want and then specifically search for that variety. If you’re going to grow something, you might as well grow the best of the best! I don’t know much about wax jambu so I don’t know which variety is the best. I usually spend a lot of hours doing research on varieties before looking for a plant. Good luck in your search!

Simon has it right, some of the wax jambus taste like water. The best one I've tasted is "Kecil" I brought over an airlayer from Frankies in Hawaii. Ong Nursery has airlayers from my tree. He has about 40 varieties in San Diego.

Have you tasted the Thai Long green? Which one tastes better IMO? Kecil or Thai long?
