Are there actually good tasting Mountain Soursop varieties?

I heard many times that Mountain Soursop (Annona montana) fruits were not good tasting with a flavor described as "peach-flavored cardboard." The only good thing about this Annona species is that it can used as a rootstock due to its cold hardiness.

However, I notice that several sites were selling varieties of Mountain Soursop that supposedly taste descent. Has anybody had a good tasting Mountain Soursop before?

The one that huertasurbanas sells seeds of is good. My friend has grown it out to fruiting and it is way better than whatever has been floating around in the US for a while. Its worthy to grow for its fruit I have been told.

Had one of these for years in my yard. Only these last two mild winters has it actually managed to make it through. Its actually on my short list for removal and replacement since after almost ten years I have still had no fruit from it.

It fruited this year but I didn't get to taste it, only one fruit but it fell off the tree
Have you tried the fruit yet? Was it good?
