Citrus rootstock vs seedling for socal
« on: September 11, 2024, 10:19:46 PM »
I planted out a hedge of small Sumo seedlings, but now second-guessing myself. Should I use "proper" rootstocks instead?  I haven't had any issues with my few other citrus bushes, on unknown big box rootstocks, so I don't know what kind of possible issues I'm supposed to be overcoming with a particular rootstock.

Citrus rootstock affects peel and flavor.
You should search for the best rootstock for each scion.

I haven’t found any studies with Sumo as rootstock.
