That is a nice looking tree and the fruits are huge. Great work. Maybe i can add this to my LZ/PeachC/Dupuis too.
But the fruits will definitely get some unwanted attention

That is a loaf of bread it's next to.

That's a beauty.
The Earth laughs in flowers. And bear gifts through fruits.
No where to plant it ...but at least I got it. ;)

Gorgeous fruit, beautiful tree. The look of the fruit on the tree reminds me of Hatcher. I'm looking forward to my tree's fruit maturing.  Looks like yours are about on the same schedule as mine. Enjoy!!

This one has 17 fruit on it at 7-8 ft tall. It should be noted that only about 50% of the canopy bloomed:

I have one in Loxahatchee around the same size with zero fruit on it.

They are a favorite target of Sri Lankan weevils.

Squam- Those trees and fruit look great! I imagine you can say you have double the fruit due to the size that they'll end up being 😃😃
Do you remember when you purchased your tree? I'm curious as to how big (if you remember) your trunk was, I'm not asking for the measurements but was it really big? The one I bought has a monster trunk, I've never seen a mango tree in a 3 gallon bucket this thick, it's crazy!

I guess I'll keep mine.  Those fruits look incredible.  Mine is 2 years old and no signs of disease.  Stems on new growth are extremely thick but I guess that is adapted to hold heavy fruit.  It has not flowered yet but many of my 2 year old trees did not flower this year.

Wow dude, that's a great looking tree bro. Are all of the fruit that big or was the pictured fruit an anomaly? I read somewhere that HM was a pretty massive mango. I hope they're good tasting as well a x-large. I bought the tree two days ago and it already flushed, I can tell she's going to be vigorous! I hope your tree does well this year.

LOL, I'm a gal, not a bro

All of the fruit are very large, some are bigger than others - mind you, this tree is less than 5 years old. Last year we harvested about 15 fruit- this year looks like it will be closer to 25.

The one you picked and photographed--is it from this year's crop or last year's?

I am envious of those who own Harvest Moon trees. Mangoes so large you can eat half for your lunch and the other half for dinner..

Harvest Moon reminds me of Rudiett mango they get that size (2-3lb) and they are quite delicious

That mango needs to be referred to as "Day-yum!!!" instead of Harvest Moon...Looks like a small watermelon in that pic

Have you had a "Venus Mango"? I felt the same way, I couldn't eat the whole fruit, it was too big!

My 4 year old Harvest Moon produced 4 fruit this year. One was inedible due to some rot around the stem. Of the remaining 3 one was smaller in size and the other two were jumbo. One of the jumbos I picked too early and it never ripened properly.  You don’t pick these at the first sign of yellow. I picked this one full yellow on the tree and it still had to ripen off the tree for another week. I live in the north Redlands, well inland and the fruit remained quite clean of any fungus with no treatments.

I didn’t weigh it but I guess it was around 3 pounds. It’s pictured next to a Carrie for comparison. I can put down 4 Carrie size fruits for breakfast but it was a stretch to finish this Harvest Moon.

I would call the flavor very good but not great. Not much fiber, no internal breakdown. Uniform flavor and texture throughout. To large to cut up tic tac toe style. The novelty is the size.

My tree is not a vigorous grower like the peach cobbler by any means. It’s an average size tree but the stems grow very thick.

I ate a large Harvest Moon that Frank grew for one of our Mango tastings and I though the the Fruit was just OK. It’s a huge beautiful fruit but the taste is very average. I much prefer Pineapple Pleasure for a large fruit with exceptional flavor.

Nam Doc Mai.....#1 a Worlds most over rated Mango.....I'd rather eat a Tommy Atkins.
Blessed be the man who plants a tree knowing he will never live to enjoy it's fruit or shade.

Maybe as a top work Harvest Moon would have increased productivity 🤔
