Looks like your going to have plenty to experiment with
Last year I had a bunch on a few trees and they started to soften.
Some even dropped on the ground if I didn't get to them.
After they started to soften I picked them and they got
very soft in 1-3 days on the counter

I did notice you said Amanda obtained the cutting from Thailand but
they are calling it Australian on the auction? In the video she says it
came from middle east. How did Australian get in the description?
I am still interested in obtaining that Mulberry when you get it

Most reviews on ebay would be buyers who received a decent looking tree
in a timely manner. When the tree grows up and fruits 2-4 years later and
you see the fruit then it's too late to write a poor review. I think reputation
is everything but some people don't have any integrity and making a sale is
more important. I read some of the complaints about Guava King and some of
the poeple who said it I respect. I wouldn't buy anything from that seller
based on what's been said especially something rare.

I once received mulberry cuttings from Thailand that I rooted.
turns out its exactly the same as the Thai dwarf being offered already.
I have a friend that has the Thai dwarf, World's Best and the Chiang Mai 60
and swears they are all the same? I currently have all three of those types as well
but the world's best and Chiang Mai 60 are still small and I can't compare.

when the fruit turns yellow it is ripe. mine turned yellow and I was waiting for them
to soften. The fruit has a shell that never softens. when they turn yellow crack them open

I checked closer and both of mine are loaded with fruit now.
The green fruit look like the leaves but when I looked close
I started seeing the fruit everywhere. I grew mine from seed
and one fruited last year. It was 2 years old. This year the
other one which is now 3 is setting fruit also

The compost attracts beneficial nematodes which eat the nematodes that eat the roots
of the fig. I fertilize with as much organics as possible along with keeping
mulch around the trees. I have a LSU purple that has been in the ground for 7-8
years and going strong. I also have a celeste that is surviving. I have lost other fig trees
over the years usually during the Winter. Another good thing about LSU purple is it
has produced figs pretty much year round. The figs that ripen June through September
are very washed out and often split. The rainy season ruins them.
if I moved to a new property and started over I probably wouldn't plant a fig in Florida.

My two trees have been flowering heavy the past month as well. I don't see
fruit set yet but I need to look closer. When the fruit sets its green and takes
a good while to turn yellow. Kind of hard to notice when green. Last year my fruit ripened
in the Fall

my 2 small seedling kwai muk froze off 2 years ago and only one came
back from the roots. last year it froze off again and is coming back again.
My point is it is cold sensitive also

I have two different seedling trees.
One fruited on its own at 3 years old. The other tree hadn't flowered yet.
The second tree started flowering and hasn't set fruit for several years
meanwhile the first tree produces fine. Both trees were hit hard this past
Winter freeze. All the branches died on both trees. Both have put out tons of new
growth and will be fine. Neither will flower this year though.

Will it bother you if the trees don't grow uniform? I gave an Angie to
my neighbor and in 3 years it is as big as my pickering which is 6-7 years old?
Even if you planted the same 5 mangos they wouldn't grow equally.

My grafted red genova did not make it from the 2 cold nights in January.
I was below 32F for 5-6 hours
The tree was in the ground for 4-5 years and around 10'
Almost all of my annonas were damaged or killed from the cold.

Since greening has affected the citrus in Florida the new fertlizer regimen
is to fertilize more frequently all year long. Since I have been doing this I have noticed
