Awesome! Any shots of the full tree? I’m excited for my tree’s first flowering, if not this year it’ll definitely be ready by next.

Nice! Was this from seed? If so, how long did it take to fruit?

Yes from seed... got the seedling from Adam at FFF as a free bonus plant on a large order.
It started blooming it's 3rd year and now it's in its 5th and best so far.

So Myrciara cauliflora - red hybrid and whether they actually are a hybrid is debatable. My 2 older ones started modestly and just go crazy with fruiting now having multiple crops a year. A 7 footer can have hundreds of fruit in each crop and fruit can be well sized. After Scarlet they must be the next fastest to produce fruit.
