Here is a book about Pouterias. It's in Spanish. Maybe someone will spend a few month and translate it for me....

i have this book. It only covers 3 Pouteria species: eggfruit, mamey, and green sapote. If the author wasn't smart enough to translate it then why should we? :o Seriously, you can do one page at a time translation on google.
Great to know it's online now, as was a difficult book to get.

When you visit the lovely plantations at Akil, be sure to visit Oxkutzcab near by, and look for Vivero Marín, which probably was the source of a lot of those trees.

JF, there is good info on this book. Maybe we can use the most effective method to graft our Mameys according to the book. Nice find murahilin.
