I'm not sure if this has been done before, but a couple of weeks ago I pollinated my booth with african pride pollen, and it set fruit. I'm excited to see how it turns out over the next few months, as so far it is already slightly different in appearance. It appears to have small bumps on it, smaller than the atemoya, but not flat like the booth. First image is the true booth cherimoya, second is the booth/african pride hybrid.

I hope you are able to see this through to maturity 👍. I’ve had a few promising crosses abort this year, Annona’s are finicky

Here was a failed attempt between el bumpo (cherimoya) x Lisa (atemoya) , here in palm city. Already looking forward to next season 🤷♂️

fruit wont be different, the hybrid would be seed that you must grow and see what that produces.

I'll probably sell off most of the seeds if it does produce a full sized fruit. Unfprtunately I don't have the space to grow out 20+ of them at the moment.
