Winter prices in the market and a good red papaya
« on: June 13, 2021, 06:32:46 PM »
Two weeks into Winter and the mangoes have stopped the rambutans and longans wont last much longer but the atemoyas and avocadoes are in full swing and cheap. Vegies abound. I took a few randon pics to show the prices. The conversions from Aust $ per/kg to US$ per/lb is Australian $1/kg  equals US $0.34c/lb. Thus a few weeks ago Keitt mangoes for Aust $2/kg were 68c US/lb.

Custard apple is so cheap there.
African Pride here $15/lb.
A guy paid $37 US for 1 last week.
