Please Help Me Identify These 2
« on: August 14, 2021, 09:54:18 AM »
I couldn't locate the tags on either one and have no clue as to what they are.
Thanks:
Plant #1

Plant 1 reminds of rollinia, or another annona.

Thanks roblack. I think you nailed it. I bought rollinia seeds from TFF member Brian
in 2018.

Most welcome, hope that's the correct call. Could be projecting, as I've been hanging out with our rollinia tree a bit today and yesterday.

Here are some leaves for comparison. They do look a bit different, but mine seemed to have changed with maturity, with narrowing and lengthening of the leaves.

...and some ripening fruit

The second looks like Peludinha, a.k.a. "yellow jaboticaba."  Could be some other species in the Myrtaceae family.  Maybe Cambuca'.

How old is your rollinia?

Can see that too. That was my 2nd guess, but maybe a better one.
