Are these flower buds on my pink guava?

As title stated, I'm just curious whether these are buds forming at the base of the leaves on my pink guava, or if it's just new growth. I'm not really sure what to look for because this is my first year keeping guava.

no, just new growth, but it might be to soon to tell. I just looked at my trees and your photo shows buds which may be fruit starts. Until it grows out a little more you will not be able to tell if it is just new leaf nodes for new branches or a flower bud. When it grows a little more and you see the first leaf then it is not a fruit bud.

I took some photos for you so you can see new buds on my tree which turned out to be new branches (first few photos below). Then some which actually ended up being flower stems. Last photos are the fruit as it got larger.
