Ilama tree width
« on: January 27, 2022, 05:49:15 PM »
Looking for some info on those growing Ilama trees from seeds how wide do these trees get in a tropical environment with high rainfall.  I can only see references on google that they grow 7m high but nothing anywhere as to how wide they get.  Looking to work out some spacing.

Local Tree must be 20 years old, looks to be grafted, pink interior fruit. Have seen it hard pruned, could be bigger

Thanks looks to grow more upright then it does wide. I think maybe 15ft spacing between trees might work?

I think that 15 feet is doable. Some trimming is beneficial for good quality fruit!
