Of the people growing it (preferably in Florida), does anyone have pictures of their fruit?

Sorry man, I can't even get ripe fruit. the tree grows to like 15ft and then snaps under the load of the fruit.
Next time it sets fruit I'll send you a pic

They were full size compare to the Kandrians I had in the past (2/3 of a typical publix plantain) but didn't fill out completely.
I'll check to see if i took any pictures of it.

Kandrian is a banana,  not a plantain.

Mine are small, like a plump lady finger.  I think Going Bananas screwed up.

Looks kinda like Saba, in terms of fruit. (Short and fat)
Plus they are both big trees so maybe they in the same section.
I'm not Musa expert though, perhaps the people on the going bananas forum might be able to get you a proper ID

Rob, I have one too but it’s not fruited yet, I have other varieties too, if you need something let me know.
Don’t rush, take time and enjoy life and food.

Not sure if mine has too much of a curve or not for Saba.  Also, the stems are tall but not towering (I will have to check but I think my Praying Hands may be taller.

Are all the fruit seeded? Do you have any other bananas nearby? Kandarian/kandarian is a landrace variety originally from PNG. Its an ABB triploid and although parthenocarpic, they can retain some levels of fertility. One indicator is Kandarian is a big banana plant, 30ft type big, if its not like this it might not  be the real deal.
