In your first pic, you can see a little of the cotton candy structure of the flesh.  It should have been a brilliant white and a fluffy...melt in your mouth result.  They are very good when picked at the right time.  The shell should have been a bright yellow as well.  Harry is correct that the biggest complaint is the lack of flesh.  But if you have a bunch of them...it makes up for it.  We definitely had a few in PR that looked well past its prime.  Oh well...you will now be ready for the next wave!

I liked the ones in PR. I didn't think the flesh ratio was too bad. I think the achachariu tasted better but these were good as well. Both are definitely worth growing. Hopefully they will become more widely planted in south fl.

Echo the overripe look of the fruit.  When I was at Mike's I took some pictures of the trees on my phone.  I need to find and download them and I'll post them tomorrow.

Those look great. Much more compact growth than what I was expecting. Nice to see a small tree that could potentially produce a lot of fruit in a pot.
