That's freakin' awesome... Very juicy it seems.  Think I've just found a good candidate for the true tropics.

A little bit of dirt won't kill anybody ;D

Thanks gents,

You can sometimes get this fig from Fanicks nursery in Texas.

Of course if you are in Florida I can help you out.

All the best and glad to be a part of this great forum. Great people!

I agree on color not being very accurate. I do like Giant because it may not look so big in the video but it is a really big fig as it is huge and twice as big as  Brown Turkey and tastes a hell of lot better. As these trees mature the fruit get bigger and better. So calling it Giant is okay and if you grow one you will eventually agree. Blue yes that's weird!

Peace,

from what I could find online, seems its called blue giant , because of its purple skin.  :o   maybe in Texas, they consider purple just another shade of blue?  ;D ;)

I love all my friends in Texas. Especially the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. Those Dolphin Cheerleaders well they just don't look as pretty. Oh boy am I in BIG trouble now. Probably need to leave the state.  ;)

Strange true fact: 9 out of 10 Texans are color blind! LOL. Yikes I just keep looking for trouble!

Just kidding guys and gals....

Peace and love but blue really?
