for a hybrid m cauliflora (red jabo), I used to pay 70 dollars for a 2ft tall plant, 4yrs ago.

me oh my, the price has dropped!

these trees aren't far from fruiting...maybe 1-2yrs max with proper care.

Ohh tight. How big r they?

It's a faster growing variety that I picked up from Erik at pine island,I according to him they fruit in 2 or 3 years. We will see. Mike
Rightnow they are 2-2 1/2 ft nice and bushy

Thanks guys, it's been my dream to do this, even though it's a little scary, after being forced out of my job as a service manager after 11 years, I decided to take a little time from the car biz to decompress and follow myy passion for what I truly love. Hope I don't starve to death! Lol

Today I am finally convinced that what I had thought was a delicious Malay Apple, was in fact a Wax Jambu.  I just hadn't known that a Wax Jambu could have the shape, colour and size of a Malay Apple.   My wife found this lovely blog for me in Indonesian with fantastic photos of about 10 wax jambu varieties.

Red google thai S.samaranense and you'll see the finest members of the genus and they have the shape of malay apples. They are sweeter than malays and seedless and of much higher qulity I reckon.
