The walls are coming back up on the greenhouse, so I guess its fall again. It does not feel very long ago when I was typing up a post for a spring sale. Hopefully the weather these next few months will not be bad for us here in Kentucky zone 6B, but if it is, we are prepared for it. The good news is Brazil is starting to pump out fruit, so we will be adding tons of news species each week. We have listed our leftover seed stock from this summer onto the clearance page. If I ship you a plant, and it arrives dead or damaged, just message us a photo of it on our support page and I will refund you or send you a replacement. Whichever you prefer. Bapeba is an evergreen tree with a dense, globose crown It grows 8 - 20 meters tall with a straight, cylindrical bole 25 - 45cm in diameter. The edible fruit is sometimes gathered from the wild for local use, though it is not widely appreciated. An ornamental plant, it has been recommended for landscaping. Present information suggests that this species is confined to Linhares Forest Reserve. This is a strange and very rare sapote having knobby, almost ugly fruits that ripen green and brown. Pulp is orange-tan in color, with a mildly sweet flavor.

Plants are available for $15 plus $10 in shipping. We can ship up to 5 plants at once for $15 total in shipping to anywhere in the US.
