ISO: cecropia/gummy worm fruit

hello!
looking for gummy worm fruit from the cecropia tree, either fresh, freeze dried, or pureed. I know shipping is very sensitive for them since they are a delicate fruit, but willing to pay very well if any growers have a few to spare. nothing big in quantity, was just curious on the profile!

There is/was a tree at the Fruit & Spice Park. Taste reminded me of black licorice. Large cuttings (2 inch diameter) are the way to go if you can find a tree.

I am curious, if you never tried before, is it the name gummy worm fruit that makes it appealing enough to pay very well?
Taste buds differ but I have a hard time figuring out the allure of this fruit outside the name.
I think a more appropriate name that matches the edibility and desireability is the foreskin fruit.
I don’t think they would hold up to overnight shipping even.

I haven't tried many . I believe they could be better, like most fruits. Texture was an issue for me though.

They infact taste like licorice gummy bear with a hint of pine resine.. They are in season here in April

This seller (camplus) on ebay has cuttings of cecropia for sale as one of the options for cuttings. I'm not sure how easily they root from cuttings but the seller told me they will root easily.
