yes.  Make sure it has good drainage.

Yes, and make sure it has holes in the bottom!  Some decorative pots do not

I know Millet had talked about using miracle grow garden soil, perlite and I think CHC, but it’s been a while so I’m not sure. Can I use miracle grow garden soil and perlite for a quick and easy well draining mix to transplant the tree into? Tracking down CHC will be a pain right now.
