Millet, I know that citrus take up NPK in the ratio of 5-1-3. But it seems to me that they will do that no matter the NPK ratio of the fertilizer that is provided to them as long as the concentrations of NPK are adequate.

fyliu and Ilya11, you are both right. What you mention are "natural" genetic modifications and therefore are OK as far as the likes of Greenpeace are concerned. The other types of genetic modifications are un-natural and therefore not OK. Gene editing has great potential for agriculture.

Millet, organisms whose genomes have been modified (edited) using CRISPR/Cas9 are nevertheless Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) in that their genomes have been modified!

I have a 40 year calamondin that has been in the same pot for about 5 years. Leaves look good but it has not put out any new growth in a while. But the root ball is pretty dense. Should I leave it in the same pot and prune the roots? Should I also prune the branches? Or should I just put it into a larger container without pruning it?
