After researching a while back, the best options I found for anything zone 8+ are Susquehanna or Sunflower. My grafted Susquehanna is doing good in 10, for now.

Or you could plant a ton of seeds and see which best survive your climate, then use those to graft or grow to maturity. Doing that as well here.
