Patches on the bark of my Meiwa Kumquot
« on: April 07, 2023, 06:16:29 AM »
I see these patches on the bark of my Meiwa Kumquot. They spread along the branch and the branch dies. What is causing these?

I lost my meiwa the same way..browning from the top down. I suspected root stock incompatibility, I have a post about it. Might not be your issue though

I have grown a ton of citrus (including all commonly available kumquats & hybrids) and I don't remember ever seeing that kind of bark damage.  Not sure what it could be.
