banana stalks and mice...
« on: February 07, 2023, 07:08:58 AM »
hey!
there are quite a lot of mice in my growing area. they are common field mice not root voles. they are very selective on which fruit trees(trunks) they start eating. dwarf apple rootstocks were eaten very fast...
do they eat banana stalks? in my area bananas are normally not grown, so I cannot ask others.
I hope nobody has mice problems, but if so, please report  :)

thanks!

I have never had that problem in my area. My suggestion would be to zip tie rat traps around the bottom of the trunks. This is what I do when rats are going into my trees to eat the fruit. It works very well.
