Wishing you all well :)
« on: December 31, 2015, 07:46:47 PM »
Since there's no longer an Off Topic, this is just well wishes to you all on this New Year's Eve.

Some of you may know I was away in the Philippines last month, but sadly enough, no real news on tropical fruits aside from eating a few in season things here and there. Lame, I know. Anyway, hope to see some good new topics and tons more pics this coming year. Cheers :)

Wishing everyone all the best for the New Year.  For my South Florida fruit growing compadres, I wish some cool weather.  If it doesn't cool off soon, I am not sure what we are going to have in the way of some of our favorite fruits this summer.

Wishing everyone all the best for the New Year.  For my South Florida fruit growing compadres, I wish some cool weather.  If it doesn't cool off soon, I am not sure what we are going to have in the way of some of our favorite fruits this summer.

For lychees, it may be getting too late.

For mangoes, me thinks the wet weather is causing the larger problems.  Trees cannot get or stay in any dormancy stage when we keep getting these rain events on top if the warmer temps.  While we do have a couple of tentatively forecast cooler days, they are sandwiched by days with decent rain chances.

Wishing all and their families (trees and plants included) a Happy Happy, healthy and prosperous 2016!
