Buddha's Head, atemoya, had its time of fame for a while and it's probably the same as what you call Pinaapple SA.
Since then, Big Eyes Sugar Apple has taken over but its international, meaning US, fame has somewhat faded.

It'd be great if you could provide more info on this Tamali Damu SA. Is it NMK1 or another SA hybrid from Taiwan?

So far, I've only tasted Black Pak and Thai Dwarf. They would get the same vote from me in terms of taste but again, taste is strictly personal.

Looks like Amazon doesn't carry it anymore. I bough this way back in 2014 and as you could see, I hardly ever used it.
You could use any grafting wax / paste. Trowbridge's looks good.

I use Tsugi Ro japanese grafting wax (Amazon) only to seal around the scions but any grafting wax would do. There is no need to seal the whole trunk cut.

Below is a bark graft of pomelos I did a couple of days ago where I used the wax:

I have a hass seedling that's been doing this and I was advised to use a filter for the water. I bought one that you screw to the beginning of the water outlet. It took sometimes I'd say over 6 months to come back to normal leaves. So I'm guessing it has to do with salt and unfiltered city water full of chlorine and such.

Hey Bush2Beach, what would be the average diameter of this M. Californica? If it's too small for our F*****G INFECTED plants,  it wouldn't help. It needa to be at least 1/5 inch to be immediately usable.

You need to keep them in pots and away from ground, if you want to be sure; it’s why most nurseries use raised structures/tables to place their potted plants.

And use separate tools to handle the infected plants.

I doubt there is any true tropical trees wholesalers in California or elsewhere beside Florida. And even Florida, if the "wholesaler" is not around Miami, be careful. Southern tip of Florida has tropical climate even though technically it's not in a tropical zone.

In my yard, the Miami variety definitely was not resistant to rot. Lost all my fruits due to it. The fruits would grow a bit, then turn black and drop. I cut the tree down.

Have you tried to bag the fruits? I know of 2 main causes for sugar apple fruit to turn black. One is the annonas borer. By laying eggs inisde the fruitlet, it could also injects spore of a fungus that turns the fruit black. Another cause is hot wind. If you tree is exposed to a wind corridor and there is hot wind for a couple of days or so, some fruits will turn black. I get this in So Cal with our infamous Santa Ana wind. Bagging fruits helps alleviate this to a certain level. I recently lost 3 PPC to this.

I don’t understand what you’re asking for. A column for where/who? For LA, Joe is in El Segundo. I am in corona, but go through OC nearly everyday.

I read somewhere, forgot where, that you withhold watering 2-3 weeks before expected bloom time and then you hit them with bloom fert.
Of course, you trees must be mature enough to flower meaning at least 2 years old and with strong structures.
