You are a lucky man indeed.  I'll take some seeds.
With 3 acres of prime real estate for growing tropicals... why not create my own garden of eden?? Work in progress

probably around 4 year's Oscar, and   last  year due to an extraordinary  heavy rains in our Dry season (January /February)  set 2 crops one in may /June and second in September /October, the first years it wasn't a heavy crops like now, and is a short tree only about 8/9 feet high, I was about to take it down 2 years ago because the fruits were too acid I couldn't handle it, most I could ate was one or two, the first two years were like that, next year I was about to chopp it when I   try a  fruit, hook my gud! It was deliciously sweet! And is the second year like that, don't know if that was caused for the youngnes of the tree or because I was getting the fruit too early on the  yellow color, now  I make sure to harvest them with a deep Orange color....

Hi Raul it's good to hear that your tree is producing so much.  You say it is about 9 feet tall ,out of curiosity, how wide is the tree?  Also how old is the tree?

Thanks
Bill

Hi Bill, this trees are very wide, mine should be the same in diameter, good news as the tree will stay shorter for more years, most of the fruit I have been picking by hand, just the ones at the top with small ladder, another cool thing is even if the tree is loaded with fruit you can't notice until you  get very close, practically stand right there and open the branches with your hands then you have this amazing show of hundreds of orange balls hanging, other thing I like is the fruit doesn't fell  to the ground like my Mangosteen, they stay there hanging even when 100% ripe, this way they preserve for long time, I have mine on the tree for more than 2 months, and just cut the ones I need for my  daily consumption, theres a nice YouTube video on an Achachairu Orchard in Australia take a look so you can see the shape of the trees....

All great information Raul. Thanks for the update. It's nice to hear that the fruit holds on the tree for a while. With hundreds of fruit you want to be able to enjoy it over time.

Seeds arrived in great shape! Also, even though it seems obvious to do so with recalcitrant seeds, thanks for packing them in coco.

Hi Raul, my seeds arrived today looking good. A couple were broken in half. Do you think they'll still sprout? Hopefully they will, some were sprouting, so can't wait to see them take off! Thanks again!!

Hi I'm glad they did! Put the two pieces together and plant only half the seed, they might sprout, Saludos!
