hikoku - do you already have Asimina Triloba?  There are several members here who have seeds.  I got some several months ago - all sprouted and are doing well.

I'd love to find Pawpaw- when is the season for it? Does anyone know if it grows on the west coast as well?

It grows on the west coast, just needs some chill hours (+300). Your best bet for finding pawpaw fruits in CA would be contacting the CRFG and going to a meeting ask around if anyone has fruits or will have fruits that can be sampled.
Grow mainly fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

Oregon has more than enough chill hours. It should be no problem from Santa Barbara northward.
It's not native to there so someone would have to introduce it to the region.

Pawpaw is a Florida fruit? I always thought they were more Appalachian.
