You ask where else you can get all of these varieties you've listed....I see pretty much all of the ones you listed being sold as trees at madisoncitrusnursery.com so atleast us East coast non production states have access to the premium stuff.
Recently at the SE Citrus Expo a horticultural scientist did a side by side comparison of the CCCP and Madison's budwood program...there was a CLEAR winner...Heck Hershel even sends you parafilm with each order too...Good ole Southern boys...cant beat em

I have the one small tree i purchased in the spring supposed to be 3rd gen but I just bought two more supposedly(one second gen and one third gen) so we shall see on these!

Ive had Marathon for 3 seasons now and had a good fruit set this year..While it was first starting to turn the flavor was really good, a little sour but still good flavor...HOWEVER once the fruit was fully ripened it had this "different" flavor that it didnt have at all before....a little funky. Not bad enough to ruin the fruit but bad enough to keep it out the top 50 taste list imo. My 2 cents

US Sundragon is quickly climbing my overall charts. I love the size and taste as well as tendency towards small seeds or overall seedless.
My only gripe is that the bottom half of almost every sundragon ive ever peeled was more adherent than the rest and tends to split the soft and melting flesh.
It has all the flavor of a navel and more with similar peelability to shiranui but probably harder.

My tree didn’t fruit either. Everything dropped. I’m not very surprised though as it was probably just a bloom from stress

The roots were so densely packed in the clay washing it out without damaging them was darn near impossible so I left a bit of it in there. I think the clay was intentional choice based on an expectation of a lot of in-box hold time, but who knows, the root patterning actually looked like it could have been growing in a large clay plug all along...
I will update again once it's filled in. Hopefully we see some flower buds popping by next month.
I thought the same thing when i got mine. It was basically straight modeling clay. I left a good bit as well trying to avoid more shock so we'll see what that looks like when i up pot eventually.
Overall pretty pleased with this "chance"

dytandme thanks for giving me that pollination idea bc i have all kinds of other quats in bloom at the moment as well. What crosses are you considering and ill leave my current flowering varieties list here for suggestions as to what yall think would be good.

First returns are looking promising given the overall leaf shape growth pattern(I.E. it looks different than Fukushu and Meiwa)

Okay so I’ve been following this thread for quite some time now but I have some news to report of my own. I too ordered one of these supposed crisp honey quats from the Etsy shop listed earlier. It is now flowering for the first time so here we go.

I have a somewhat large sundragon in the ground that will fruit this year and another one in a 35 gallon pot that will also fruit this year again as they both fruited last season in pots.
Last years fruits were large and excellent. Each tree set a crop equivalent to what a comparably sized Shiranui would have produced.
They do have a leggy and dangly growth habit similar to NZ lemonade but not as bad

Tango is an irradiated Murcott with outstanding characteristics...easily one of if not the strongest variety i have in all categories. I have over 200 potted citrus and 30 in ground with Tangos of each and they are very very strong and attractive growing trees

I have this same issue with potted meyers. Id presume its a combination of stress from the rootzone staying too wet and cold temps. I have over 250 potted citrus in my backyard here in SC zone 8 and the meyer is one of my most finicky ones as far as yellowing of the leaves and defoliation.

We'll have to see some leaf and tree characteristics before telling these apart most likely. Even with the rind thickness i think there can be variations within the same variety.

I have a potted US Superna that strongly disagrees with the inability to produce fruit in the SouthEast. heavy bearer of what my kids and family decided was a "seedless Ponkan" Excellent fruit

I would like more information on US Sundragon cold hardiness if anyone has it. I tried my first fruit from my two trees this year and it was amazing, honestly. I was wainting to get excited about it because i wasnt sure of its hardiness but its dormancy routine is very similar to that of Shiranui which is promising.
