Thanks John. I appreciate it.what everyone going to ask him tonight?I submitted your question. I hope you don't mind. You can elaborate if you want. The chat is already open.
I want to ask about most cold sensitive vs most cold hardy mango varieties.
Rain, you should multi-graft onto any decent size avocado tree that has many branches. I only have one large seedling avocado tree I grew from seed (Hawaii, yellow fruit) and I have 16 different varieties on it. Now I'm adding more of the Seedless Krueger and Randi, also some Wilson Seedless, Seedless "S!S" (Lara Farms) and a few more I just purchased.16 varieties! you're sparking my imagination here. Year round avocado in 1 tree lol.
ah, Thank you Jabo. I'll prepare my pots and shaded area nowreading everyone comment of what potting soil to use. So i'm not suppose to plant it straight to the ground?No...it needs to be in a pot to be in a protected area so it doesn't get desiccated while recovering.
Needs a shady place with high humidity.
Gone for just a few weeks over the holidays and come home to this shit…Dang, what the heck. I didnt know it could cost this kind of damage.
3.5 year old trees scheduled for top working this Spring, wasted. Gophers are learning how to get around the wire baskets or just mow right through the tap roots. Clever girl.
Finally, some results!
After 8-9 months of trying to germinate Mexican Custard Apple, I tried Rain's method, and got success within 3 weeks.
Thank you, Rain!
To anybody reading this, try Rain's method for germinating annonas, it worked really well. Trim the seeds with a nail clipper, soak them overnight, and let them germinate in a paper towel in a plastic bag on top of a heat mat. It works really well.
I've got another reticulata going, and a bunch of soursops I started today. I am about to start some atemoya this way.
Again, thank you Rain!
Having edible skin would be awesome. This one look more meaty too.they look like fat little cucumber lol. Do you have pictures of the inside?Hopefully the skin isn't bitter

Someone in Florida did a video 📹 ...
Nice review of the Krueger, thank you. I saw the entire video Rain, good taste comparison with Hass and SlimCado.I never have reed so that closet thing i could think of was pastitsio lol. Your hass must taste very good. The hass that I get from the store are not even close to Krueger
I agree with you about the Krueger, I like it, tastes like a Hass/Reed to me.
