Although this is an old topic:

Purple Mangosteen - my favourite. Flavour is incredible with a great sweetness. The texture is really good too. Shame I can't grow it.
Mango - Kensington Pride all the way. I have no idea why it is not popular in the USA. It is the best mango, and pretty much every Auzzie agrees.
Soursop - Very unique, one of the first exotic fruits I tried, even before purple mangosteen. I look forward to when I can eat this fruit so much. The 'green apple candy' flavour is brillant. The texture isn't popular with everyone, but I enjoy the fibre.
Plum/Cherry - A good plum is great, and there is so much variety. I love particularly love Santa Rosa and Sugar plums. And cherries are just hard to beat. Both are great fruits for the summer, nice and juicy.
Abiu - I can't wait to eat them again soon. So much better than real caramel, it's such a great fruit.

Years ago, as a little kid I loved Black Sapote. I would very rarely eat it, but I sure have some fond memories.

No wonder the government creates so many laws.  The topic says 5, but people sneak in 6 or more.
