Just got some seeds from palologrower today, they arrived looking great with some germination already.

Despite the freezing temps and snow here, I have had good luck with even the most sensitive stuff delivered in winter as long as I grab the package straight from the postman.  I guess the USPS warehouse and vehicles are warm enough to keep things from freezing, dunno if UPS or FedEx are the same.

glad to hear.  i always fear stuff in a cart in the back back of a post office and just sits there for HOURS.  Unfortunately, I had communication with another buyer and they had seeds to be sent to them in Texas got to the local regional post office in their area and then routed to Chicago for 2 weeks.  Weird.

Lance (palologrower) has had multiple Theobroma species this year, including gileri. Fairly priced and quick shipping.

unfortunately, gileri was a mistake.  mislabel from my friend.  long story short, they got mixed up.  ended up being jacao cacao...round leaf cold tolerant variety of T. cacao.

Hi palologrower, I dont trust shipping seeds right now to WA (we're supposed to get 3inches of snow this weekend) but if you manage to grow one of the seeds out, I would happily buy one off you once the weather warms up.

If I can remember!

The HTFG Oahu Chapter repository has some Florida varieties I brought in over the years. Noe, who owns the farm actually is a citrus farmer in principle.  So there aren't tons of space for mangoes.  However, she is doing Tatura trellis for the mangoes.  I think I want to say I hyper focused on the Burmese/Thai varieties for whatever reason.

I also know a guy on Oahu named Melvin, retired guy making the move to Hamakua side.  His house in Aina Haina had 100+ mango varieties where he was getting scions from the Florida guys. He was supposed to plant those out Onomea or Pepeekeo side.

Sri gading Chempejack hybrid $1.50 per seed.  Seeds from an off season fruit.  14lbs.  Yielded 150+ pcs (fully formed or aborted seeds..90% fully formed seeds).  Has the creamy milky sweetness of the chemp parent with the fullness provided from the jackfruit parentage.  Highly recommended fruit.  The other day, I cut this fruit open as well as a 25lb jack variety.  The thing I liked about it is when it's ripe, you just make your cuts to get it open and you can pull the skin off with the fruits intact to the core.  Instant smorgasbord.
