The biggest and oldest Russell Sweet tree around is a female about 40 years old. I had a look at the 100s of fruit on this tree today about 3 hrs ago and the biggest were almost 1lb. Here a few to look at.







Mike the fruits are big. I think they were pollinated by a male tree somewhere around.

Yes there is also a large male about 30m away. A G.dulcis on the same property has bisex flowers.

Is it known whether male G. dulcis can pollinate a female Russell's sweet? I only have a single Russell's sweet but have plenty of G. dulcis growing
