I was in the yard and saw one of the pond apple (Annona glabra) trees is dropping fruits.
I will be glad to throw a fruit in a zip lock bag and ship it to you.  I don't expect you to eat the fruit, but you will get a bunch of seeds to plant or do whatever you need to with.

I can sell you seeds (it will cost since it takes time to process) or give you the fruit and you take care of getting the seeds yourself.

Shipping should be about $8 for priority small box.

If you are interested, please make sure fruits can be sent to your location first.  PM me with your address and we can work out the details.

PM me your address.  The ready ones are spoken for and shipped earlier today, but several more are a few days away from being ready to pick or dropping on their own.

It is that time of year again and the pond apple has some fruits.  Not ready to drop yet but will in a couple of weeks.

If you want some seed it will cost you, but I can send you a free fruit (you cover $10 shipping) and you can process the seeds.

My pond apple holds Cherilata well and also just got my fist soursop fruit from a graft on pond apple.  For some reason, Ilama has not done well on it in my yard.

Just saw this.  I will make a few pictures and post.
Cherilata, Soursop and Cherimoya grafted to pond apple (the Cherimoya was an interstock to allow me graft atemoya to the pond apple rootstock)

How big are the pond apples?
If you mean the fruit, they vary in size.  Some are small, size of a racquetball ball.  Some are larger, as wide around as a tennis ball at the widest point and a little longer.

If you mean the tree, I have several, from seedlings I am grafting to up to 12 ft high trees.  I used to have two even larger trees over 23 ft. high, but they were removed to make way for a stormwater feature.  I wasn't complaining.

Note, I am offering these for the seeds and even the small ones have more than enough seeds for most.

How big are the pond apples?

Here is a medium size one.  There are a couple larger and many more smaller.

Thanks for sharing.

Most of my grafts are on growing trees and the grafts are a foot or more above ground, some 3 feet plus.  I hope it is not the condition but only a few are 3 plus years old.  We will see and I may come back to update this post if something happens.
