canistel ripe?

Are these canistel ready to pick? These are my first fruits and they are still hard

They won’t get soft on the tree. If they do then they’ll fall apart on the ground. You can probably pick them at this point and let them ripen until soft.

Mike, I picked one a few weeks ago from a mature tree that had many fruits that were yellow and let it sit on the table for 4 days before eating it. I was good, first time I ate one of those. I thought the fruits are usually pointed on one end, what variety is yours ?

They do have a point on one end. They are TREC 2

Usually, at hard maturity, small beads of white sap exude through the fruits' skins.  Can pick.
